Postgraduate Students who need to requisition goods and/or services must complete the following elearning courses 

Requester Training 

In this course you will learn:

  • the steps involved in requisitioning goods or services
  • Best practices in managing and maintaining purchase orders in People and Money
  • Setting up People and Money correctly for you to requisition goods and services
  • The important steps to take to make a purchase

The course is entirely e-learning. There is a quiz to pass, and you must achieve an 80% pass mark to complete the course.

Fraud Awareness Training

In this course you will learn about the following;

  • The importance of fraud awareness
  • A definition of fraud
  • The initiatives the university is taking to combat fraud
  • How to recognise fraud
  • Prevention strategies

  • How to respond to fraud

     

VAT Fundamentals Training 

The course will help you,

  • Understand VAT, what it is and how it's applied
  • Learn what our responsibilities are in the University
  • Determine how VAT is applied in People & Money
  • Find out what resources are available in the University to support you
