Peter Hayakawa and colleagues have been raising awareness of the Climate Crisis and finding ways for the University to help save the planet. As mentioned at our January Launch Event, Peter and other Team Finance colleagues are exploring ways to make our Department Zero Carbon, which means causing or resulting in no net release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The team will now begin working with students in the Business School on a consultancy project to explore how Team Finance can meet this goal. We are extremely pleased to participate in initiative, as part of our effort to engage more with the University's students and staff for mutual benefit, and to leverage some of the untapped potential and knowledge hidden within our organisation to collaborate on big global challenges.
