The Finance Helpline has received its 100,000 calls and has reached some other important milestones too.

On 2nd November, the Finance Helpline received its 100,000th call since its inception on 21st January 2019.  The call related to an important student hardship finance enquiry, and the use of UniDesk allowed it to be quickly directed to the most appropriate source of help and support.

Finance Helpline and the start of the new academic year

September saw the start of the new academic year, and the first where students with Finance queries would have a single point of contact via the Finance Helpline.

The start of term meant an increase of 45% in the telephone calls to the Helpline, and an overall increase in calls of approximately 25%.
