If you select an online payment option If you select to pay by an online payment option, you will be re-directed to complete your payment online. Payment reference Your payment reference is a unique number provided on the instruction sheet by our payment provider. The reference will start with EGB29913. Your payment quote will only be valid for 72 hours and so you should make a payment as soon as possible after you receive it. Do you need help? If you have paid a deposit If you have paid a deposit towards your programme, this will be deducted from the total amount of fees you have to pay. Your deposit will not appear on your invoice. If you pay your deposit early in the year, there may be a delay before this shows on your student account in My finance. Log in to MyEd to check My finance If you have other fees to pay You may need to pay other fees for your programme (for example, module fees or dissertation fees). You can find out if you need to pay extra fees for your programme on the University’s degree finder. Module fees and individual course fees Any module or individual course fees must be paid as soon as possible and before the start date of your course. You cannot pay these as instalments. Dissertation fees and postgraduate research costs Dissertation fees and postgraduate research costs can be paid as part of your instalment plan. This could happen if you have made a payment in full but not taken away your deposit from the fees total. To get a refund, you should contact the Finance Helpline with the subject line: ‘Request a refund for tuition fees’. Contact the Finance Helpline If you paid by bank transfer or online payment option If you are due a refund and paid by bank transfer, then the money will be returned to you through the same method of payment.
