Keep up to date with the Finance Transformation. As many of you will know, we’ve launched a series of ‘Spotlight Sessions’ to help Team Finance colleagues get ready for the transformation of Finance services later this year. Thanks to colleagues if you came along to our Spotlight Sessions, your time and contributions during the sessions are much appreciated. At the last session we were able to give colleagues an early look at finance processes in People and Money with some demo videos. They covered some of the financial planning and reporting tools that will be available for finance colleagues doing planning and budgeting tasks. We’ll aim to do more of this in future sessions too. The sessions are for colleagues in finance, business support, leadership and specialist roles - who will be supporting the changes in their areas. We are issuing invitations directly to these groups. We’re making some changes to our timetable of sessions and will update colleagues with a revised schedule as soon as possible. The next session will take place on 11 August and invitations have already been issued. View the recordings and materials from previous events. Please do join us for any of the upcoming sessions you feel are relevant to your role; they are a good opportunity not just to find out more but also to ask questions. We’ll be engaging with wider University colleagues later this year with tailored communications and engagement sessions to meet their needs. Reminder on timelines All the changes we’re sharing at Spotlight Sessions will come as part of phase 3 of our programme timeline - due to be delivered between autumn and Christmas this year.
