Eva, who provided yoga classes in Charles Stewart House pre-lockdown, is offering online classes for Finance colleagues. There is an opportunity for Finance staff to participate in Yoga classes. Yoga promotes well-being by helping to improve flexibility and strength, and can help with relaxation. This can be especially helpful if you’ve been working at an improvised home office. The yoga classes which used to be held in Charles Stewart House have continued through lockdown, but are now delivered on zoom, and spaces are now available on those classes. What you need to know All Finance staff can attend, not just those based in Charles Stewart House. Beginners are welcome, all ages are welcome, most people in the class had not done any yoga when they first started Classes last 45 minutes, and are held on Monday and Wednesday lunchtimes. 12-30 to 1.45 You can do it in your own home, so you don’t need any equipment, not even a yoga mat. Currently there is an offer to join any of the classes for free as a trial, for the first 2 weeks of August. If after the trial you feel the benefits and would like to continue, the cost would be £6 per class.
